THE STORY

In the US, there are 1000’s of consultants with great talent and insight from past experiences. Over the years as an executive I have engaged consultants myself for specific guidance. What I have found, is that within the services industry, specifically staffing, solutions and global human capital environments is that most have hands on experience within one or two organizational frameworks and successes based largely on a limited exposure within their careers.

I am a passionate services and software leader that has had the good fortune of being a successful entrepreneur from start-up to sale along with having lead public, private, and PE backed organizations through every business maturation state i.e. $0 – $25M, $25 – $50M, $50 – 100M, $100 – $200M and $200 – $400M. I stay involved in the industry having been on industry association boards (Chairman of TechServe Alliance) in leadership roles, consulting to global organizations, speaking/workshop engagements with industry organizations and corporate executive leaders, Additionally my leadership style when leading organizations is to be hands on with my teams and clients.

In addition to my services experience I have launched two SaaS VMS software platforms and although not a technologist, I was intimately involved in the functional design, market positioning, client engagement strategies, and overall growth driver.  

I have delivered strategies that doubled global organizations size from under $200M to about $400M in under 2 years while increasing GM$ and GM% along with EBITDA$ and EBITDA % in the same time frame. While doing this launched a number of new service lines (RPO, IT Solutions, Construction Management division, as well as creating an offshore delivery organization that had immediate impact. 

In the public world, as a CxO, I delivered hands on strategies that increased our stock price from under $5 per share to almost $19 per share inside of 18 months. Improved all KPI measurables and financial indicators while building a leadership team through a difficult change management time period. 

In the private sector I have built and sold organizations while leading others as an executive to tremendous successes in a number of different sectors i.e. IT, Engineering, A/F, Professional, etc…

With a passion for the sales process, I have also been a student of sales methodologies having rolled out Miller Heiman, Spin, Sandler, Sales Challenger, etc… concepts customized to each organizations unique value. 

In summation, I have had the good fortune to have seen a number of operational models and have learned that there is no cookie cutter approach to success. That being said, I have gained unique insights from all types and all industry segments to have real life hands on expertise that will bring you value in whatever operational area you may see value in improving.
